    This case study follows Second Stage’s dilemma on whether to move forward with the purchase the Helen Hayes theater space on Broadway—for which it had already put down a $3.65 million deposit—or to take that deposit back and not purchase the theater, a last-minute option offered by the owner of the Helen Hayes.
