• Interview: Sheldon Epps (2016)

    Sheldon Epps was the Artistic Director of Pasadena Playhouse from 1997 to 2017. Prior to the Playhouse, Epps served as associate artistic director of the Old Globe Theatre in San Diego for four years. In addition,  he was the cofounder of an Off-Broadway theatre called the Production Company. He has directed plays and musicals at theatres such as the Roundabout Theatre, Manhattan Theatre Club, and the Goodman Theatre, as well as television episodes of such series as “Frasier” and “Friends.” In this interview, Epps offers an overview of his career and salient insights into the state of the theater eld, especially with respect to diversity.
